Shortly after I
received my M.A. my parents and I visited the UK. After
landing at Heathrow, we visited a family friend in North
London. While Dad visited, Mom and I walked around a bit. I found this maintenance depot for the
Underground nearby. |

We stayed about
3 weeks with my Aunt and Uncle in Norfolk. Often joined by my
Auntie Linda, I went cycling in the countryside around the village
of Erpingham where my relatives live. My Aunt took a
picture of me with a road sign for the village. |

The day before
we were due to head home, I was fortunate enough to catch the
departure of a steam special from London's Euston station.
"Princess Elizabeth" hauled a special train to Liverpool. An
English enthusiast was kind enough to take a photo of me with the
engine. |
